Q1 How soon can I expect the order to arrive?
You can expect an order to arrive in 24/48 hours if in stock.

Q2 Are the prices wholesale or retail? And do they include VAT?
Our prices are retail, excluding VAT.

Q3 Do you charge delivery and is there a minimum order value?
Orders of £100.00 or more (excluding VAT) will be delivered free of charge (this does not include bulky items of furniture where carriage is charged at cost). Orders of less than £100.00 (excluding VAT) will incur a £7.25 +VAT small order charge.

Q4 Is there a discount on large orders?
This depends on the type of product, order quantity & total order value. Please ask to speak to a manager.

Q5 Can you advise me where certain things are in the catalogue?
We have 1000s of products on our computer system, so not all are in the catalogue. Please use the index at the back to check. If you can't find what you're looking for please contact us.

Q6 What quantities do the plasters and dressing come in?
It varies. The quantity or length is clearly indicated next to the product description.

Q7 Are we charged for goods that we return?
Returned goods will not be accepted for credit unless through prior arrangement and credit will be only be given according to the condition of the goods. We are unable to accept pharmaceutical items as returned goods unless an error in supply has been made by Kays Medical. All returns may be subject to a handling charge.

Q8 As a new customer can I have instant credit?
All first orders must be paid for by proforma or credit card. If by proforma, once the initial order is placed we can open a credit account with a credit limit. If paying by credit card, we can open a cash account which will ensure we keep all delivery details and the website can show any special prices where appropriate for when you next order.

Q9 What is a 'proforma', what does it involve?
A proforma is a unofficial invoice for goods you have requested but have not yet been delivered. You would then send us a cheque for that amount on which we would then deliver the goods and issue an official invoice for your records, acknowledging of course that it has already been paid. The proforma clearly shows what you have requested and all costs involved so that both parties clearly understand the requirements. It involves you faxing, or otherwise, details of your order by which we immediately fax-back a proforma. You send the cheque by post and we make the delivery.

Q10 Do you have a rep we can see?
For many parts of the UK - yes. Please use the ‘contact us’ link on the home page to arrange an appointment.

Q11 Do you accept credit card orders?
Yes, and you could open a cash (credit card) account so we retain all your details and the website will show your special prices where appropriate to make your next order easier for you.

Q12 Do you supply anywhere in the UK?
Yes.

Q13 If the item is out of stock when can I expect delivery?
We will confirm the date after checking with the supplier.

Q14 If the item is unavailable can you suggest an alternative?
Yes we can recommend a similar product.
