In Summer 2008 a major refurbishment of our premises started. The design team was from award winning architectural firm Denovo Design, and local building firm Liverpool Joinery & Building Contractors headed up the works.
The aim of the refurbishment was to bring our dated building into the 21st Century. There were two main phases to the works; the first provided modern offices for our increasing number of staff and the second gave us nearly double the warehouse capacity and a state of the art training facility.
The refurb was a top to bottom affair that included new infrastructure throughout: new IT , a new warehouse management system with the latest bar-coding technology and a new kitchen for the staff to name but a few.

The whole environment and feel of Kays has changed for the better and even customers who have never been on site have commented on the improved service they have received from our noticeably happier employees!
The project finished in January 2009 and was a resounding success. So successful in fact, we have been nominated and short listed for the Northwest Business Environment Awards 2009.
