For: All people in places of work where an automatic external defibrillator (AED) is in situ.

Benefits:

  Trains to high standard of basic life support, teaching how to use an AED correctly and confidently.

  Gives victims of heart attacks at work a greater chance of survival. Survival rates increase the sooner life support is applied and the AED is used correctly.

Syllabus:

• basic life support training
• basic Life support testing
• training in the use of an AED
• practical Exercises
  

• Tests and assesses with practical scenarios. Certificate awarded to successful candidates.
