Syllabus:

• what is fire?
• aims of fire fighting / fire safety
• fire fighting techniques
• types of extinguishers / use

• Practical exercise, under supervision, of dealing with a fire and using extinguishers. Continual assessment, no formal examination. Certificate awarded to successful applicants.
