Living in the 21st Century can be stressful.

Life can be fast and furious and we may encounter obstacles along the way that can slow us down and cause us difficulties. But what do we do when we are feeling stressed and what can make our experience worse than it has to be? That’s why we’ll teach you how to manage stress.

Some Lifestyle Factors Can Make All Of These Symptoms Worse Than They Need To Be, Such As:

  • Smoking or drinking to excess
  • Poor diet – either too much of what is bad for you or not enough of what is good for you
  • Excessive illicit drug use
  • Lack of exercise
  • Accepting too many tasks by not being able to say ’NO’

How Can You Help Yourself Manage Stress In Times Of Stress:

  • Put yourself first for some part of your day
  • Plan your meals ahead so you don’t have to think of what to eat at times when you are not concentrating well
  • Get everything ready for the next day, the night before, so as you are not rushing around
  • Maybe even have your shower so as you have more time in the morning for a calm start
  • Eat better, include fruits and vegetables in your plan
  • Avoid lots of alcohol/smoking/illicit drugs
  • Mix with friends in a relaxed environment at regular intervals to manage stress
  • Exercise – do whatever suits your lifestyle from skipping in the backyard to running marathons and spending lots of money on a gym.
