Day Nurse capsules contain three main active ingredients that work together in combination to provide complete flu and cold relief. These ingredients are paracetamol, pholcodine and pseudoephedrine. Paracetamol relieves mild to moderate pain and can reduce a fever. Pholcodine is a cough suppressant known to relieve dry or unproductive coughs. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that works by shrinking dilated blood vessels in the nasal passage and sinuses. These dilated blood vessels are what causes congestion. This also reduces mucus.
