Logistics VNA Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Logistics VNA Driver in Speke, Liverpool.

About the role

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict adherence to all sections of the quality procedures manual during the storage and distribution of goods within the warehouse.
  • Accurately input data into the scanner & WHM system.
    Take responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the VNA & racking areas.
  • Receive comprehensive training and familiarise yourself with relevant procedures and stock control systems.
    Operate the VNA safely and professionally, complying with all Health and Safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively about incoming and outgoing issues.
  • Maintain documentation related to traceability and locations.
    Uphold customer service levels to the required standard.
  • Possess a general understanding of all equipment within your area of responsibility.
  • Effectively manage workload while supporting other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all GMP standards.
    Verify accuracy and traceability of picked products from racking locations.
  • Perform safety checks at the start of each shift and input relevant documentation into WMS as per the operating procedures manual.
  • Quarantine stock as necessary.
  • Check all products for batch and expiry information and input data accordingly.
  • Adhere to cold chain monitoring procedures when receiving products.
  • Receive comprehensive training in all areas and familiarise yourself with relevant QAP’s procedures and stock control systems.
  • Verify accuracy and traceability of all picked and packed products.
  • Conduct required safety checks at the start of each shift within the site.
  • Perform cycle counts, stock takes, and audits to ensure effective and efficient resource utilisation.
    Efficiently receipt and store products, including damaged goods.
  • Ensure timely order fulfilment within fixed deadlines in the warehouse.

Essential/preferred experience:

VNA licence essential and counterbalance preferred.

Key Tasks

  • Maintain continuous movement of materials to and from racking locations.
  • Foster strong working relationships with colleagues in your area of responsibility and other interfacing departments.
  • Complete customer picks to the agreed standard and within specified timeframes with precision.
  • Collaborate with the QA team regarding any quality concerns.
  • Optimize storage space and adhere to an agreed-upon stock structure.
  • Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement consistent stock rotation practices.
  • Efficiently coordinate the intake, storage, picking, and dispatch of all finished goods.

Role overview

Salary: £23,500.00 per year

Schedule: 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types: Bonus scheme
