Audiometry (Hearing checks): For all employees who are likely to be regularly exposed above the upper exposure action values or are at risk for any reason, such as having blood circulatory diseases or being particularly sensitive to damage.

Spirometry (Lung Function): Health surveillance for respiratory diseases means monitoring the health of workers who are exposed to substances that can cause or aggravate lung problems, such as dust, fumes, gases, vapours, or biological agents. You must provide health surveillance for respiratory diseases for your employees if they are exposed to substances that are known to cause lung damage, such as asbestos, silica, or isocyanates, or if they show signs or symptoms of respiratory problems, such as coughing, wheezing, or shortness of breath.

Skin: Health surveillance for skin diseases means checking the skin of workers who are exposed to substances that can cause or aggravate skin problems, such as dermatitis, eczema, or skin cancer. You must provide health surveillance for skin diseases for your employees if they are exposed to substances that are known to cause skin damage, such as solvents, oils, or metals, or if they show signs or symptoms of skin problems, such as redness, itching, or cracking. You can arrange health surveillance.

Hand-arm vibration (HAVS): Health surveillance for hand-arm vibration means regularly monitoring for the early symptoms of vibration-related diseases, such as vibration white finger or carpal tunnel syndrome, in workers who use vibrating tools or machines. You must provide health surveillance for hand-arm vibration for your employees who are likely to be regularly exposed above the exposure action value or are considered to be at risk for any other reason, such as having blood circulatory diseases or being particularly sensitive to damage.
