Did you know that the number of working days lost to “stress, depression and anxiety” in the UK rose by 24% between 2015 and 2018, while the number of days lost to “serious mental illness” roughly doubled? Mental health problems can have a direct impact on staff turnover, presenteeism, absenteeism and reputation.
With nearly 3 in every 10 employees having a mental health problem in any one year, the great majority of which will be anxiety and depressive disorders, are you able to recognise and effectively manage mental health issues and productivity in the workplace?
