Betnovate Cream contains betamethasone valerate 0.122% w/w, a potent topical corticosteroid used to treat a wide range of steroid-responsive dermatoses. It is indicated for adults, the elderly, and children over 1 year of age for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic skin conditions, including:
• Atopic dermatitis (eczema)
• Psoriasis (excluding widespread plaque psoriasis)
• Seborrhoeic dermatitis
• Lichen planus and lichen simplex chronicus
• Discoid lupus erythematosus
• Allergic and irritant contact dermatitis
• Prurigo nodularis
• Insect bite reactions
