New Starter Health Assessments

Ensure your employees are the right fit for their jobs and that their jobs are the right fit for them, with our On-Placement Screening Service.

When an individual has been successful in securing employment with your business, would you like assurance that they are fit enough to carry out the role that they have been given? If so, On-Placement Screening is the ideal solution for your business.

What is On-Placement Screening?

On-Placement Screening provides health checks to determine whether an individual is able to carry out their role or if there is a need for any reasonable adjustments as outlined by the Equality Act 2010.

How is On-Placement Screening executed?

When a new employee joins your business, it is good practice to record baseline health measurements, as this will provide you with a benchmark for future assessments.

In order to carry out On-Placement Screening, we need to know the specifics of the proposed employment. This allows us to individually tailor our advice to the needs of your business.

Health checks can be undertaken in advance of the individual’s commencement date. The screening can take the form of a questionnaire, which we aim to respond to within one working day. Should we require further information from the individual, we will arrange a telephone conversation to have this discussion.

In some instances, it may be necessary for us to meet with the individual or seek further information from the individuals GP or specialist. This is to ensure that we are able to accurately determine the extent of any health issues.
